Design requirements for the spray booth of the production line of the passenger car body painting

The painting room refers to the working room specially set up for the spraying process, and it is the key equipment necessary for the painting workshop. The size, structure, and functional configuration of the spray booth vary with factors such as the spraying method, the size and output of the painted parts, the type of painting, and the field conditions. It is a non-standard equipment and must be selected correctly. For example, considering the height and length of the body, the lifting platform is designed to facilitate spraying and achieve a good spraying effect on the large roof and around the body.
The spray booth should have two functions. First, it can promptly and quickly remove the paint mist and solvent vapor generated during the spraying process, prevent the pollution of the working environment and the coated surface, ensure safe production, and can capture the paint mist to the greatest extent, avoiding being discharged outdoors or causing exhaust fans and Paint buildup on the exhaust pipe. The bottom air exhaust and circulating water filtration system can fully guarantee the cleanliness of the spray booth. Recycled water
The filter system can fully filter the paint mist, add paint mist treatment agent in the circulating pool, sedimentation treatment and recovery. The second is to create the best coating conditions and working environment according to the spraying process of the paint used and the requirements of the decorative grade of the coating. For example, it can provide clean and dust-free air with temperature and humidity adjustment, and good lighting to make spraying. The operation is not affected by the external environment (climatic conditions such as temperature and humidity). The temperature of the bus painting operation is controlled at 20~25℃ to ensure the stability of the spraying quality.
At present, in the painting operation, cars are mostly sprayed by robots, while commercial passenger cars use a combination of robots and manual spraying due to production volume, tall body, and customer requirements for color. The robot coating method is mainly used for the middle coating. The middle coating is single and does not need to be replaced. It can guarantee the spraying quality and has a higher paint utilization rate compared to the manual spraying method. The topcoat layer is mostly sprayed by hand. For the manual spraying method, it is generally difficult to spray the entire surface at one time during the application process, and the spraying and docking work needs to be done.
If the spraying time is not well controlled during the spraying operation, the problem of "bottom biting" is very easy to occur, and it is difficult to ensure the surface quality of the coating. Therefore, in the actual spraying operation, the spray booth is designed with a lifting platform to facilitate the use of high and low station coordination methods for the large roof and the periphery of the car body, and pay attention to the personnel to master the basic spraying process to ensure the quality of spraying.
