In June 2025, the non-stick internal and external coating line, cleaning equipment line, and exhaust gas treatment system project for Lingfeng Home Products Intelligent Manufacturing Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., undertaken by Guangdong Chuangzhi Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. (brand name: Attractivechina), was successfully delivered and put into mass production. Project Overview: Chinese Smart Manufacturing Supports Client's Overseas Expansion

Lingfeng Home Products is a leading Chinese manufacturer of non-stick cookware, with deep process expertise and brand influence in the fields of aluminum pots and stainless steel pots. In response to global supply chain restructuring and to better serve international brand clients, Lingfeng Home Products established an overseas smart manufacturing base in Thailand and chose Attractivechina as the core equipment supplier for its coating production system. The project encompasses an automatic cleaning line, an automatic non-stick internal and external coating line, and a supporting exhaust gas treatment system, fully meeting the mass production requirements for both aluminum pots and stainless steel pots.

 

Non-stick cookware coating is one of the most technically challenging links in cookware manufacturing. Aluminum and stainless steel pots differ significantly in material properties, requiring distinct pretreatment processes and coating systems. Moreover, non-stick coatings are mostly solvent-based, imposing extremely high demands on coating precision, temperature and humidity control, and environmental safety. The client required the production line to accommodate mixed-model production of both materials simultaneously, while achieving rapid changeover, consistent quality, and green manufacturing.

Three-System Synergy: A Complete Closed Loop from Cleaning to Coating to Purification

The project is composed of three major subsystems working in synergy, forming a complete production loop from pot pretreatment, non-stick coating application, to exhaust gas purification.

 

The cleaning equipment line performs the critical task of providing a clean substrate surface for the pots. After stamping and forming, aluminum and stainless steel pots retain residual drawing oil, metal chips, and dust particles. Incomplete cleaning would directly lead to poor coating adhesion, pinholes, or fish-eye defects. This line employs a multi-stage automatic cleaning system, sequentially performing pre-degreasing, main degreasing, hot water washing, and pure water rinsing. Differentiated cleaning process parameters are set to accommodate the distinct corrosion resistance characteristics of aluminum and stainless steel. Equipped with automatic liquid level compensation, precise temperature control, and circulating filtration systems, the line ensures highly consistent cleaning results across every batch in large-scale production.

 

The non-stick internal and external coating line is the core of the entire project. Given that non-stick cookware requires different coatings on the inner and outer surfaces (non-stick coating on the interior and heat-resistant color paint on the exterior), the line adopts a parallel dual-line layout to perform inner coating and outer coating separately. The spraying system employs high-precision automatic spray guns, combined with a multi-station turntable and automatic workpiece rotation mechanism, achieving even coverage on both the inner and outer surfaces of the pots. Differentiated spraying programs are designed for the two material types, ensuring optimal adhesion and leveling of the coating on both aluminum and stainless steel surfaces. After spraying, the pots enter a multi-zone far-infrared curing tunnel, where precise control of the heating curve and holding time allows the non-stick coating to fully cross-link, achieving ideal hardness, gloss, and non-stick performance.

 

The exhaust gas treatment system operates in tandem with the coating line. The organic solvents in non-stick coatings release VOCs during spraying and curing processes. The project is equipped with a high-efficiency regenerative exhaust gas purification system, employing multi-stage filtration and high-temperature incineration technology to thoroughly decompose and purify the exhaust gases. Emission indicators are superior to local Thai environmental regulations, helping the client achieve green manufacturing.

Technical Highlights: Flexible Compatibility and Intelligent Control

The project achieves two major technological breakthroughs. First, flexible mixed-model production capability – the line supports simultaneous production of aluminum and stainless steel pots. Through an automatic workpiece identification system, the equipment can quickly call up corresponding cleaning programs, spraying parameters, and curing curves for different materials and specifications, enabling seamless changeover between different pot types, significantly improving equipment utilization and production scheduling flexibility. Second, digital intelligent centralized control – the entire production line is integrated with Attractivechina's self-developed intelligent control system, which monitors and automatically adjusts key parameters such as temperature, humidity, paint flow rate, and air velocity across all process sections in real time. The system features process recipe storage and one-touch recall functionality, greatly reducing changeover time and effectively ensuring quality consistency under multi-variety production conditions.

 

Project Delivery and Customer Value

The project was delivered on schedule in June 2025 and passed customer acceptance in a single round. Since commissioning, the line has operated stably, with coating appearance and non-stick performance both certified by international brand customers. The project not only helped the client establish standardized non-stick cookware coating production capabilities in Thailand, but also provided high-quality production assurance for their further expansion into international markets.
